Father’s Day 2014

Father’s Day is June 15, 2014 and is a celebration honoring fathers and celebrating fatherhood and paternal bonds. Many will come together to celebrate and to express gratitude and appreciation to their Fathers for their contribution in their lives. A Father’s role includes supplying their children’s needs and being involved in their upbringing along with being a good disciplinarian and role model; while being sympathetic and lending an ear.

While taking time to honor your Father on this earth, take time to give special honor to your Heavenly Father, God. Not only did he give you life but has an overwhelming love that cannot be measured. He supplies your needs and some of your wants. He has provided you with an earthly father and mother to care and nurture you through your life. God is a good teacher and will discipline his children when needed. He sent his son Jesus Christ as your role model. Thank God for his everlasting love and devotion to you.

We are thankful and want to honor you,

For our soul is at peace and rest.

Father you deserve all the honor and praise,

You are the creator, master and Lord,

Cost of a Man’s Soul

What does a man’s soul mean to you? How much does your friends and family mean to you? If I told you that more than 33 trillion souls would burn in hell, would it matter to you; would you spread the gospel then? Whether it is 33 trillion or 1, you should feel led to tell others about Jesus Christ before it is too late. Think about the amount of people in the world that could be saved if every Christian stood up and spread the gospel. The amount would be great. One day every man, woman and child will have to give account to God for the things he did and the things he failed to do on this earth. Stop worrying about popularity or what someone will say about you.

A true Christian will try to help others know the truth and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ before it is too late. A person who loves others will do whatever necessary to help bring a sinner to repentance and to the knowledge of Jesus Christ. No man knows the day or the hour of the Lord’s return. No man knows the day or the hour when they will die. Hebrews 9:27 says, “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”

What does a person’s soul mean to you? One day every man will stand before God and “then every one of us shall give account of himself to God” (Romans 14:12). You will have to explain why you didn’t spread the gospel. He will reward those that did share the gospel to others. Revelation 22:12 says, “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” A person who wins souls is wise and can cover a multitude of sins.

Matthew 16:26 says, “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell (Matthew 10:28).

Second Coming of Christ

Don’t be fooled, Jesus is coming soon. Don’t let someone tell you that Jesus is not coming because his return is near. Don’t think that you will have time to repent after he comes. You must repent now and by faith, receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Jesus can be a Father and friend to you if you will only believe in him. He cares about you like no one ever has. He wants to bless you with eternal life. Why would anyone want to deny Jesus?

It is important to give you this warning that Jesus is coming soon and that you must turn from all your sins— anything that is separating you from the love of God. You may be a Christian but you are living in sin, you must turn from your sin now. Whether you are living in adultery, are a homosexual, commiting fornication, are a liar, thief, or you have any sin that is un-confessed; now is the time to get right with God. Repent and ask for God’s forgiveness. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed (1 Corinthians 15:52).

Jesus is coming sooner than you think. Matthew 24:5-13 says, “For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.All these are the beginning of sorrows.Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

There is nothing that is preventing the return of Christ. There have been so many signs in these last days that point directly to the return of Christ. There are multiple earthquakes that have taken place. Many have been deceived and are deceiving others into believing a lie. They may say that Jesus is not the only way to Heaven. They tell you that you can live anyway you want and God will forgive you. Abortions are performed in great numbers. Rumors of wars are heard on a daily basis today. Many are offended for hearing that they have sinned. Government, schools, public officials are telling people they can’t sing Christian songs, speak about Jesus, or tell people they are sinning. Christians are called terrorist by the government for preaching that sin is sin. Christians are hated for telling the truth to the unbeliever. Some are arrested and thrown in prison for standing for what is right.

I urge you to come to Jesus Christ and ask him to be your Lord and Savior before it is too late. Behold today is the day, behold now is the time of Salvation. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (Romans 10:9).

Worshipping the Image of the Beast

Over the last few months, prophecy has been fulfilled before our eyes. I hate to tell you that there is coming a day that Satan will convince men into believing a lie – believing in worshipping a false image, known as the image of the beast. Satan has blinded the eyes of many already into believing that there is more than one way to Heaven. Some have bought tickets to Heaven on the internet, others think they can ride a comet to Heaven. Some may think that this belief system is crazy but many believe in these delusions. The evil forces and powers of this world is creating an illusion, a lie that has deceived many. An illusion that everything is fine and there is no need to repent. A lie that Satan is actually here for peace; a lie that you can worship him and/or earthy kings without consequence; a lie that we can rebuild this earth into a beautiful planet and we can live here forever without God.

There is a One World coalition of religious and political powers aligning up under the leadership of the Antichrist beast to cast the world into a deception, that all can believe in one god and have “unity” and “peace”. The idea of unity and peace sounds good until you look at the real picture. Someone will be cut out of the equation. They will say that Jesus Christ is not the only way to Heaven, as they are saying now.

People left on the earth during the tribulation will be divided into one of two groups. One group will worship the beast and the other group will worship the true God and Creator. Everyone will have to make a choice regarding whom they will worship. Prophecy of the Bible predicts a time when the beast will gain immense political influence. From this position of authority, he will force people to worship him. Those who refuse will not be able to buy or sell anything, including food, and eventually sentenced to death. The Bible tells us about this beast in Revelation 13, “And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name” (Revelation 13:15-17).

Whether you worship a person, a false god, an image, a deity, or object, it is considered an “idol”. Worshipping anything other than God is an abomination. The Bible says in 2 Kings 17:12, that they served idols, whereof the Lord had said unto us, Ye shall not do this thing. Exodus 20:3-5 says, “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God……”

God will protect his people during these last days, judgment will not come upon them. But those that take the mark of the Beast during this time will receive the judgment of God and will be thrown into the lake of fire. Why would you try to present God as something corruptible or something that can be destroyed; God cannot be destroyed. Romans 1:23 says, “And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.”

In Daniel Chapter 3 we learn of three men that stood up against a king. King Nebuchadnezzar commanded the people that everyone was to fall down and worship the golden image that he made, when they heard music. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused to bow down and worship the golden idol. So King Nebuchadnezzar instructed his men to heat a fiery furnace seven times more than it was ever heated. The Kings’ men threw Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego into the furnace but the Lord protected them and they didn’t die.

Daniel 12:8-10- And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

Daniel 8:23-25-And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

Rooted and Grounded in Christ Jesus

Are you rooted in Christ Jesus? Do you have the faith you need to remain faithful through tribulation, trials, or through persecution? There has never been a time as it is now, that Christians should stand up for their faith in Jesus Christ. Christians are persecuted, prayers are stopped, Christian symbols are hidden and it is hard to find sound doctrine. Where are the faithful?

Colossians 2:7 says, “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.” Ephesians 3:17-19 says, “That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.”

In these last days, we will be tried and pushed to the test. Can your faith hold through trials and tribulations that come against you? Hebrews 10 tells us that we should keep our faith with a true heart, keeping our heart pure from an evil conscience, holding the profession of our faith without wavering, because there are some that have no conscience of what sins they are committing. They are blinded by the lust of their own eyes. They will be led away with different lust and not be able to come to the knowledge of the truth (2 Timothy 3:7). James 1:6 says, that a person who wavers their beliefs is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed back and forth. They will become confused and it will be difficult to remain faithful to Christ.

Christians should remain holy so that they will have boldness to enter into the presence of God, because it is by the blood of Jesus that are sins are covered. There is no other way, Jesus is the way the truth, the life, no man cometh into the Father, except by him. 2 Timothy 3:15-17 says, “And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” This shows that God gave us instructions in his word to help us understand truth so we can be righteous before him and live godly.

Faith Opens the Door

Faith is believing in something you haven’t seen or heard, but see Faith is believing in something greater than man can ever imagine. God is a spirit and those that seek him must seek him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24).

An example of Faith. When you go to the wall and flip the switch, you believe that the light will come on. The same applies to faith in God. God is there but you must seek him to find him. Hebrews 11:6 says, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
Take a leap of faith and believe in God and you will never be sorry. He loves you and wants to reveal himself to you today. Accept his son Jesus and you will have eternal life.

Faith Opens the Door

The Lamb’s Book of Life

Will your name be found written in the Lamb’s Book of Life? Revelation 20:12,15 says, “And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” If your name is not written in the Book of Life than you will spend an eternity in Hell.

If you want to go to Heaven and enjoy eternal life with God than your name must be written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Revelation 21:1,2,22,27 says, “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.”

To go to Heaven one must accept the son of God which was Jesus Christ. Jesus died on a cross for the sins of mankind. Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). That is why you must accept Christ. He determines who will be found written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Revelation 3:5 says, “He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.”

Anti-Christ Here Already

Could the Anti-Christ be here already? The Anti-Christ is already here and working his power behind an illusion. You might ask, “Who is the Anti-Christ and what are his plans?” The Bible does not give us the name of the Anti-Christ but gives us information to look out for that will help us in the end times. Some don’t know that the end times are here and there are signs all around us. We can see these signs if we know how to look for them. From Christian persecution to a one world religion to an economic collapse, forcing a one world currency: Be aware. 1 John 2:18 says, “Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.”

The Anti-Christ hates god and anyone that goes against him. The Bible tells us in Revelation 13:5-8, “And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”

This Anti-Christ is one who the people love, they don’t realize that he is the very pediment and definition of evil itself. Evil doesn’t represent itself as evil but good. Christians believe that evil is derived from Satan, and is the working of things immoral and the direct disobedience of God. Satan is clever and doesn’t want anyone to realize what they do as wrong. For example, the Islam faith believe that there is no concept of absolute evil; things that are perceived as evil or bad are either natural events such as natural disasters or illnesses (Wikipedia). This teaching is used to tell people that their own concept of whether something is good is for them to decide. They are calling it “unity in diversity”. The world is moving toward this view at an alarming rate. Don’t be misled by those that say, “Love everyone the way they are. Whether they commit adultery, homosexuality or murder, we shouldn’t tell them they are committing sin.” See how evil this is; it is in disguise. Yes it sounds good to love people and let people live the way they want, but God said the opposite. We are to love people but not their sin. We are to warn people of their sins. Colossians 1:28 says, “Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:”

The Anti-Christ is one that has powers to deceive and can bring a delusion that he should be worshipped not God. In 2 Thessalonians 2:3,4,9,10,11,12, it says, “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

The Anti-Christ speaks words against God and against Christians. He tries to convince people to believe his lie and he is very convincing. He hates Christians because they tell people about their sins and tell them to believe on the Lord Jesus. He hates this because he wants to be the king. 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 says, “Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

This Anti-Christ will be work to destroy things that are good. He has a purpose and a plan and he will be able to carry out this plan. Daniel 8:23-24 says, “And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.” Government leaders are calling for a “new world order” which means their agenda is to eventually rule the world through an authoritarian world government.

This Anti-Christ will set limits on those who buy or sell. Revelation 13:17 says, “And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” In the last days, one will be required to have his mark. Revelation 13:16-18 says, “And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.” One might ask how this is possible. Well if our currency is no good and we have to rely on a “one world currency” than it would be very possible. Different countries are calling for this one world global currency now, such as Russia, China, Italy, Iran, etc…

Christian Persecution

There never has been a time like it is today where Christians are being persecuted for their beliefs. God tells us to be strong as a soldier of Jesus Christ (2 Timothy 2:1-3). God warns us that whoever lives a godly life will suffer persecution (2 Timothy 3:12). News all over the world talk about how Christians are bombed, shot, hung, beheaded for the name of Christ. We hear how Christians are blamed for hate crimes, blasphemy, apostasy and being intolerant to minorities.

Here are a few example of what is going on in the world lately… A student at a college in Oregon opened fire on his students and making sure to ask what religion they were before doing so. A Christian woman was arrested and thrown in prison for refusing to issue a marriage license to a homosexual couple. A Christian couple were fined because they refused to bake a wedding cake for a homosexual couple. A Christian man was arrested and fined for leading a worship service in his own home. A Pastor was arrested for holding an anti-abortion sign. A hospital ordered a military veteran not to say “God Bless America” in his e-mails and caused a nationwide stir. Atheist groups are fighting against anything that is a symbol of Christianity; including the 911 memorial cross in New York. Islamic religious leaders are holding protest against Christians in Uzbekistan from burying their dead in state-owned cemeteries. Thousands of Christians in China who worship in private “underground” churches are facing public persecution. A Christian church in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, is having to appeal a decision allowing local authorities to confiscate its building. 20 Christian people were killed after a suicide bombing in the Christian quarter of the Muslim-majority city of Kano, Nigeria. Two Christian villages in northern Sierra Leone were burned down, shortly after most of the villagers became believers. A preacher in Iran has been held captive for over three years for preaching about Jesus. The list goes on and on..

We do not have to fear man because God will be with us no matter what happens to us in this lifetime. Hebrews 13:6 says, “So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.” God said he would never leave us or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). He told us that nothing would separate us from his love —neither shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword (Romans 8:35). Jesus will hear the prayers of his saints and he will help us in anything that comes our way. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil (1 Peter 3:12).

Even though Christians will suffer persecution, he told us to continue in his work. He wants us to share the gospel, preach his word, teach his doctrine, reprove and rebuke those that are doing wrong. He promises to give a “crown of righteousness” to those who do share his word (2 Timothy 4:8). Then God goes further and allows us to be his sons and daughters. He allows us to be joint heirs with his son, Jesus Christ. Romans 8:17 says, “And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.” I think that is amazing to know that my Lord suffered on a cross for my sins, but God will allow us to be a joint heir with him.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

One World Religion Without Christ

Today with different religions in the world, some are trying to organize a one world religion where all faiths come together. Pope Francis of the Catholic faith is the main organizer. A one world religion sounds good but one thing is missing. Jesus Christ died on the cross so that our sins would be forgiven. The blood of Christ was necessary for the remission of sins. Today some think that we can all live in harmony as long as we get along. We can live in harmony as long as we don’t offend someone. We can all sin today and God will forgive those sins; because sin is sin right. Wrong? God never gave you a license to sin. God tells us that some sins were an abomination to him. God told us that we must turn from all wickedness and repent. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Some will say that everyone can serve God together and there is no need of division. If you believe this lie, then Satan is working in your heart and mind. The Bible says in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Believing in Christ is the only way to Heaven. There is no perfect law that man can establish that will help us all live in unity and in peace on this earth, without Christ. Galatians 2:21 says, “I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.” See Jesus death, burial and resurrection is the whole gospel. There is no other way to God than through his son. John 14:6 says, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
