
The best lesson on Love is what Jesus did for us on the cross. Jesus is the son of God. He gave his life freely on a cross so that we could receive eternal life. So what does love mean to you? Love is an outward show to others, through kindness, action, emotion.
Examples of love
- Grace- Unmerited favor –loving kindness and tender care for others,
- showing emotion- cry when someone is hurting,
- action- how you feel, care for someone, hugging someone
- Active Compassion: Love is demonstrated through actions, not just feelings.
- Forgiveness: God’s love is unconditional, and we are called to forgive others.
- Value of Every Individual: Every person matters to God, and we should reflect that in our care for others.
- Joy in Restoration: God rejoices when the lost are found, encouraging believers to celebrate redemption and reconciliation.
- Consolation- Act of providing comfort, solace, relief to someone experiencing grief; emotional support or actions that alleviate suffering- God is with us through trials and tribulations 2 Corinth 1:3-7
Fruit of the Spirit- is Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance Galatians 5:22—23
- Hug- conveys support, empathy, understanding; a deep level of nonverbal communication. Can help strengthen our relationships and foster a sense of belongings
- Kiss- is used to express sincerity, faith, love, good friendship, respectful greeting

- Prioritizing each others happiness
- Being a friend to someone- leads to a feeling of being home and growing together, a person is able to share true thoughts and feelings.
Other signs of love – is showing mutual support, respect, deep acceptance, open and honest communication.
1 Peter 4:8,9- Charity shall cover a multitude of sins
Gal 6:2- Bear each others burdens Gal 6:10 – care about others, what they may be facing or going through.
